Gold Crayon Box Necklace-18k Gold

A crayon box that can open for removal of the gems. Tourmaline ‘crayons’ are genuine natural and uncut rough gemstones. Box has a locking hinge which can be opened to view the full uncut beauty of these gems. A rainbow selection of tourmaline plus one blue aqua complete the color selection. These gems where collected over time and selected for this piece because of their bright color saturation and their clarity.

The gold is 18k, solid. Each component in this item was handmade. The total weight including the gems is 19.5 grams. The gems total at 6.1 grams. Their individual gem weights are: Orange 1.8g, Green 1.1g, Yellow 1.1g, Blue 1.1, Red 0.9g. 8 brilliant cut natural diamonds are set on the bail (G VS2.)

The rectangular box portion (without bail) measures 1.5" tall and 1" wide.
